Key concepts

Destination

A destination is your public HTTPS service. The edge forwards every connected domain to its selected destination after TLS termination. The first destination is used by default.

Domain

A domain is an address owned by one of your customers, such as portal.customer.com or customer.com. Every domain is registered explicitly and points to exactly one destination.

Separate states

The domain object exposes dns_status, certificate_status, and routing_status alongside its overall status. This identifies whether DNS, certificate issuance, or routing needs attention.
